1.
MGM Grand --
With 180,000
sq.feet of gaming action, the MGM Grand is
the largest casino in the state of Nevada. At the MGM
you'll find just about every betting game imaginable.
They have more than 16 different types of table games
and over 150 tables to play 'em on. Not to mention 3,100
slot and video poker games. This means there's no waiting
around. No lines. |

2. The Palms -- A favorite among
the locals, the Palms is famous for paying out
high per- centages on their video
poker games. Some
of these machines actually pay back
more than 100 percent
(of the money put in) with perfect play. |

3. The Stratosphere is "home to some of the hottest hidden
values in Vegas", says the Travel Channel. Located a
little off the beaten path (away from the Strip), the
Stratosphere has had to market itself very
aggressively to bring in the crowds. Perhaps this is why
it has some of the best odds in town. Including slots
that pay back 98 percent of the money put in. But the
most impressive thing about the Strat is its roulette
wheel. Unlike most casinos, which play the game with
double zeros, the Stratosphere uses only one, and
this cuts
the house advantage in half.

4. Lady Luck -- At the Lady Luck everyone is
eligible for the freebies. You don't have to be a high
roller or "a whale" to get comped in this place. |

5. Green Valley Ranch is also a favorite among the
locals and, like the Stratosphere,
is located away from the Strip. Which means they've had
to take extra measures to pull in the crowds. Basically,
this translates into better odds at the slot machines. And they've got plenty of 'em. With 2,400 slot machines,
including hundreds of the newer high-tech version, Green
Valley has one of the best
slot floors in all of Las Vegas. |

6. Stardust -- If you're a sports junkie in need of
a fix, the Stardust has just the ticket. It's home to
one of the savviest sports books around. It's where the
pros come to play. The
Stardust sports book puts up the earliest lines in
Vegas, and some of the most favorable. |

7. Binions Horseshoe is a flashback to the glory
days when gaming, and not glitz, was what Vegas was all
about. It's also the favorite among blackjack players.
This is probably due to the single deck game. Blackjack
is all about probability and, with a single deck, the
odds can actually favor the player. There are more
single deck blackjack games played at Binions than at
any other casino. |

8. Bellagio --
Though it's the only five star hotel in town, Bellagio
is best known for its poker room, the largest in Nevada.
Poker players come from far and wide to test their
skills at Bellagio, and nearly every single day
a king's ransom is both won and lost there. |

9. The Rio -- With a carnival atmosphere, and
a live stage show, the Rio has the best free
entertainment in town. The stage sets right in the
center of the casino floor, and the show culminates with
an aerial parade of floats for its grand finale. |

10.
The Venetian -- If you have money to burn, and would like to
burn it in a casino, the Venetian is the place for you. Made up entirely of suites,
the Venetian caters to the likes of Bill Gates (those in the higher tax
brackets), and they're famous for their
comps, i.e., free food, free drinks, ViP rooms, luxury suites, limo
service, butlers, etc. However, to attain these freebies, you must be
ready to wager
an enormous amount of cash at their tables. |
